Dimy Mixon is a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in the state of Georgia. Dimy received her Master of Family Therapy from The Mercer University School of Medicine. It is an integrative Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) program uniquely a part of a medical school paralleled by only two other MFT programs in the United States. Through her rigorous training, she was offered extensive clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families experiencing trauma, grief, and relational challenges. Dimy started Fountain Counseling, LLC in August of 2018. She treasures the opportunity to walk through life’s greatest difficulties as an honor and profound privilege. When clients work with Dimy, they feel safe to explore their past pain and current struggles in an environment where they experience unlimited positive regard and support. Dimy resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and is the mother of two adult children.
